Statements

Hajo Greve, Greve Moden:
“At present, efficiency and effectiveness are key to both research and orders. With its contemporary presentation, compact information and committed staff cpd meets these demands. We would like to see considerable more exhibitors at this fair that has visibly and noticeably shaken off the dust of the past. Good trade fairs are marketplaces of communication and thus more necessary and useful than ever when dealing with people and the fashion business. And without cpd as a marketing initiator the showrooms are only half as valuable. At any rate, we encourage all our suppliers to adopt an unbiased and modern approach and explore the possibilities of cpd as a platform in their own interest.”

Prof. Dr. H.C. Ali Ansari, AMD Akademie Mode & Design:
“cpd lives! It promotes up-and-coming fashion designers continually and without reservation. It also stands for a key market segment and uses clear communication in the age of global metropolises. It is currently reshaping its traditional status for the future.”

Gerd Müller-Thomkins, DMI Deutsches Mode-Institut:
“Even at the early time of 9.30 on a Sunday morning the Order-Info seminar jointly organised by DMI and TW was as well attended as the trade fair as a whole. This impression was also confirmed by the following Monday. Our DMI.FASHION.TALK was attended by more participants than had registered and were expected. Busy stands, satisfied exhibitors and interested visitors could be seen across the attractively styled exhibition halls. The audience was international by all means with visitors to cpd in Düsseldorf attending from the Benelux through to Eastern Europe. Needless to say, some reshuffling is going on at the Düsseldorf marketplace, as it is in the sector as a whole and wherever fashion in traded. However, relevance is still primarily measured by attendance figures and the satisfaction of all parties involved.”
